Little Mother is a harrowing fairytale of maternal love—a silent passion play, using shadow puppetry, physical acting, and live musical performance (featuring members from The Eastern Sea, The Lovely Sparrows, Driver Friendly, and Dana Falconberry). In order to escape oppression, Little Mother (wife, mother, and prostitute) creates a softer, shadow puppet world featuring an elephant and rooster in search of the meaning of love.
