It's Ok To Laugh

Can a black woman's perspective be presented or her stories be told if a white man is on stage with her?

Twins' most recent format answers YES with a mix of improvised scenes and discussions. Funny and sometimes deep, the show, 'Its Ok to Laugh' will showcase the life and perspectives of one black woman through the body of a white man. Daring and scary this show seeks to start discussions within the room and maybe out in the community itself.

This show we will also be featuring opening and closing poems written and read by local poet/writer Van Winn.


Twins:
Shannon Stott is an improv badass. She has taught and performed improv nationally and internationally for over ten years and brings her award winning style of improv to the duo TWINS.
